The organic desert rose is harvested in the beginning of June. Rose damas (Damask Rose) is the rose grown in Chinese Xinjiang Taklimakan Desert. It is one of the best quality roses in the world. The cultivar was originated from West Asia and introduced to China thousand years ago through the ancient Silk Road.
