It is the only garden in Assam to have introduced a new way of planting and use 100% clonal plants that have been proven to produce high quality leaves. The “Cl Spl” in the name of this tea indicates that it has been made from special, clonal plants. The attractive, dark leaves of this malty Assam Mangalam tea come from a special variety of the tea plant known to make the best full-bodied teas. Thanks to generous amount of golden tips the well-balanced infusion is full-flavoured, but not overpowering, with a heady aroma and notes of malt and caramel.
