A-STAND Metallic Lacquer Semi Matt Aluminium By using the extensive range of A-Stand metallic colours, you can get any metallic finish on your models including copper, brass, gold, chrome and different shades of burnt metal. These metal colours are extremely tough and they won´t be affected by any product or paint, and their very fine pigment creates a completely smooth finish. Why to use A-Stand? The great fluidity of A-Stand products makes them very easy to airbrush without clogging the airbrush. They also offer great resistance once dry, allowing them to perfectly withstand any other type of lacquer, enamel or acrylic paint, as well as any type of weathering products. In addition, A-Stand paints resist without any problem the special masking tapes for model making. A-Stand products have a short drying time to the touch, approximately 30 minutes. Apply in thin coats, allowing 30 minutes between coats. Do not puddle the surface and allow to dry completely for at least 24 hours. If you wish to accelerate the drying time, you can add 30% of A-Stand thinner. The thinner of these paints and varnishes, like all other lacquer or enamel type products, are only suitable for use with an airbrush, not with a brush.
